Where's My Lawman?!?!

Hey, Y'all,

I know, I know. What's going on with Loving the Lawman? I'm sure some of you feel like you've been waiting forever. True, it's been more than a year since The Preacher's Paramour. It was not my intention for things to take as long as they did, but you know how life is. One day chicken, next day feathers.

I know you want to see the cover, but I gotta keep the mystery going, LOL. So. I'll be doing an official cover reveal, over on my Facebook page.

Anyway, the wait is almost over! I'm happy to announce the release date of Loving the Lawman, the final book in the Roses of Ridgeway trilogy:

Loving the Lawman Release Dates:
eBook: March 14, 2014
Print: April 25, 2014

That's right. You can wait that long, right? You've shown incredible patience up to this point, and for that I'm extremely grateful. I have worked very hard on this story to make it worth every moment you had to wait.
Of course you know, release time means contest time! More details to come on that front.

So charge up your e-readers, y'all. Loving the Lawman is coming soon!

Until Next Time,
Kianna

Back to School Sale!

Good Morning, my lovelies!

You know it's not often I post on Monday, but I've got good reason.
In one week from today, my oldest returns to school. The following day, my youngest goes of to preschool.
I love my babies more than chocolate. More than sweet tea. More than seafood, and good movies, and my next breath.
But after spending 14 solid weeks with them destroying my house and generally running amok, I can't even tell you how happy I am to let somebody else enjoy their company a few hours a day.
Yes, I'm ready to celebrate. You may think that sounds odd if you're childless, but other moms will TOTALLY get it.

So in honor of the sheer joy of sending our little darlings off to get an education, I have a sweet deal for you. I could tell you, but I'll let the neat-o graphic below do it for me!

That's right people. A half off sale. Celebrate your newfound free time by escaping into a book!

Also, I recently stopped by to talk with the ladies at TeaTime Romance. Here's the link in case you missed it: http://teatimeromance.wordpress.com/2013/08/17/interview-with-multicultural-romance-writer-kianna-alexander/

When Life Happpens....

Hi, Y'all!
I'ts been a minute, I know. (Okay, more like a couple of months.) I've been busy with the start of school, several hundred doctor/therapy appointments for my son, keeping house, and writing- when I get a minute. Y'all already know my life is hectic and chaotic. With two little kids, a hubby, and all that other stuff, how could it not be? I've been thinking about this blog for weeks, and now, I'm finally getting a minute to actually write it.

So, I have some news to share with you about my latest release, and the Hot MAMA event. The Preacher's Paramour, the second book in my sweet historical romance series(The Roses of Ridgeway), is now available for Kindle and Nook readers. Also, a heads up- there won't be a print version of this book as a standalone. However, in early 2013, when the third story, Loving the Lawman comes out, there will be a print anthology of the series with all three stories in it. Will there be more than three Roses stories? I haven't decided yet. I always have ideas, but it depends on reader response. So far, the response to the series has been very positive. If it stays that way, then I will write and release more stories.

As for the Hot MAMA Event- we have had to move the date up to March 2013, but we are planning a great event for readers in the NC/VA/TN/SC area. (And if you live outside the area you are still welcome to come!) So, keep an eye out for more information, both here and over in Hot MAMA Land, about the "Fly Hat Society Luncheon."

There's lots more to tell, but that's all for now. I've gotta have some mystery about me, right? I promise to give you more news in the next couple of weeks- frankly, that's as long as I can stand to sit on it!

Until Next Time,
Kianna
